Bluewater Twin Fly Lines
Bluewater twin-lines have a harder coating to withstand the extreme tropical heat and slightly shorter tapers to correct the flight profile for dealing with heavy flies and strong winds. Now available in both the original 8/9 bonefish/bass version and a heavyweight 11 version for the real monsters. The 11 weight version is built on a 50lb breaking strain core for maximum strength to hang on to that tarpon or sail fish and is ideal for casting big lures for pike.

A brand new concept in fly line design, built by request and with help from some of the Country’s leading anglers and Instructors alike. The iLine head is relatively short, so loading the rod quickly at short range is easier. Thinner, extra slick running line ensures that the compact head flies fast and long range casts are possible. The taper design compromises superbly between both anchored (roll,spey) and overhead casts: generating more load and increased line speed in roll casts yet remaining stable in flight. Through it’s size range, the iLine P1 has merit for river trout, sea-trout, small Stillwater and Cold saltwater anglers alike: in fact anyone who wants to manoeuvre line quickly and efficiently, and without the need for a large back-casting space.

The MidgeTip is a floating line with a 39 inch (1 m) clear AquaLux intermediate sinking tip - perfect for fishing nymphs, emergers and chironomids (buzzers) in the top 12 inches (30 cms) of the water column, shallow shorelines, sub-surface on windy days and over the top of weed beds.

RIO has incorporated the unique XS Technology into the coating for 2009 that results in a far slicker line for more distance.

A must-have line for lake anglers everywhere, it includes one of RIO’s bullet proof welded loops on the front end for easy rigging and fast leader changes.

SewinCaster Fly Lines
Developed in AFTM 8wt only - allows all the versatility needed by the night fisherman. Aids rod loading on short casts. Tested with modern, and not so modern, rods and works well on either AFTM 7wt or 8wt rods.

Three density compensated tips allow the fly to be fished at a specific depth across a range of river conditions and creates a direct striking path to the fly/ fish. Casting, made easy due to the floating belly and running line of these weight forward lines. Front Taper aids the turnover of large flies.

Whilst developed specifically as the first dedicated lines for sea trout fishers, the SewinCaster lines perform well when fishing single handed for salmon and saltwater species in a temperate climate.
